Yaron HERMAN piano / Matt BREWER double bass / Gerald CLEAVER drums

This former basketball player from Tel Aviv only took up the piano in 1996 as a teenager. Making up for lost time, Yaron was the proud recipient of a New Talent trophy less five years later, and went on to become one of the most charismatic artists of his generation before being awarded a “Victoire du Jazz” (the French equivalent of a Grammy) three years ago.

For the past six years, Yaron has graced the most prestigious jazz stages, from New York to Rio to Tokyo, with the exception of the Paris Jazz Festival. We are honored to welcome him on this opening weekend.
