The main “Delta” stage : 8 week-ends, 16 days, 31 concerts…
Every major facet of the history of jazz is represented this season, each concert conceived as a probing foray into a new territory. Our intention is not to cater to a happy few, but clearly to entertain jazz aficionados as well as the promeneurs who picnic at Parc Floral on a sunny weekend afternoon.
With this goal in mind, our artistic policy has been led by a double standard:
- Emphasizing the strong links between Paris and the rest of the jazz planet
- Finding a natural balance between the colors of jazz and the vivid environment provided by the Parc Floral.
The ideal companion of all free creators, the piano has come to epitomize the grandeur of jazz. A fitting opening tribute to a royal instrument!
